Bonus Activity
School is about to start again for a new year. Yay! Imagine that you walked into your classroom and your teacher asked you to stand up in front of the class and talk about the country that you visited. On your blog, you can:
- Post a short video clip of yourself talking about the country that you visited and the things that you learned (1 – 2 minutes)
- Type out what you would say to the class if you had 1 – 2 minutes to speak.
I would choose to type out what I would be saying.
The country I visited was Germany. I’ve learnt a lot of different things like that they invited Mexico to join WW1 by attacking the U.S, for breakfast they sometimes eat Brotchen (bread roll), cheese and salami platter. I’ve learnt that ¡buenos días means Good Morning and adios means goodbye. Also that sausages, potato salad, sauerkraut (sour cabbage) are their most famous food.
Hey Saveu,
ReplyDeleteWow it looks like you have learned a lot about Germany and
Keep up the great work.
Katelyn :)
Hi Saveu,
ReplyDeleteI agree with Katelyn, it really does look like you've gathered a lot of information about Germany. I also admire that you've taken in some other information, like that bonus translation that means Good Morning. I remember hearing about sauerkraut for the first time.
Usually, I'd try to make a pun out of it. I mean, if you gave that food to a group of people, you'd end up with a real --> sour crowd <--
Ba-dum-tssh!
By the way, congrats! You've completed the Summer Learning Journey! In the meantime, you could take some time to comment on other students' blogposts. It's a real good way to show your support, and can give you extra points!
