My trip to Ambury Farm

When we got to the farm we saw sheep, lambs , goats, a sheep dog, pigs, hens, rooster's, chickens, turkeys, peacock, cow's and calves.

I felt excited and icky at the same time.

We went in term 3 2014

Went to the farm because it was our topic.

We feed the lamb's and the goat's.

Melted chocolate on a homemade cookie, makes me feel happy. Even talking about cookies makes my tummy rumble.And is your mouth watering? For hundreds of years cookies have been a long loved snack.

The first cookies were created by accident. Cooks used a small amount of cake batter to test their oven temperature before baking a large cake. These little test cakes were called "koekje", meaning "little cake" in Dutch.

The Dutch  brought “koekje” to America and it was there that the Dutch word became the English word cookie.Cookies were mostly made in home kitchens because sugar costs so much.

There are different kinds of cookies such as Nut Cookies, fruit Cookies, chocolate Cookies and all sort of cookies. New Zealand and Australia make ANZAC cookies. My favorite flavor is Vanilla because it is soft and mushy.     

Cookies are made from butter, sugar, eggs and flour. You can add other stuff like chocolate chips. Ruth wakefield was the person who invented chocolate chip cookies.  In 1930, Wakefield was mixing a batch of cookies for her roadside inn guests when she discovered that she was out of baker's chocolate. She swapped broken pieces of Nestle's semi-sweet chocolate, expecting it to melt and absorb into the dough to create chocolate cookies.

Sometimes cookies are good for you if you use less sugar and put in healthy stuff like nuts and fruit.There are different kinds of cookies such as Nut Cookies, fruit Cookie and chocolate Cookies.New Zealand and Australia make ANZAC cookies which are made with flour , Custer sugar ,  coconut ,oats , butter , golden syrup and baking soda.

Hi as you may know my name is Saveu. I was born in New Zealand on the 2nd of April 2004. I am a Samoan girl.I am 10 years old. I have one sister named Julia and I have a brother named Leauma. I am the youngest child in my family. My sister is the second oldest and my brother is the oldest. I have long black hair.

I have a dog named Patrick he is white, grey and black, he is playful and he listens to people. I have a Baby cat named Fafa she likes to play with my dogs tail,she is white and black. I have another cat named Winke does not like playing that much, she is white and she is ginger.

I have a beautiful mother and and good helping father. I go to Saint Pius x School. I was named after my Mum’s mother. My favourite sports are Volley and Netball and my Favourite TV programmes are Regular show and Sam and Cat. My favourite book is Geronimo Stilton.My favourite music is The Way by Ariana Grande. My favourite singers are Ariana Grande and Mac Miller. My favouite hobby is watching TV.

My teacher is Mrs Deneey. My favourite foods are potato, rice Carl’s jr and butter chicken. My favourite colours are purple and blue.My fourite horra movie is Mama.My favourite movies are The Lorax,Ice age and  Despicable Me.Thank you for reading all about me.
